Keynes

The renowned economist Baron John Maynard Keynes was made bursar of King’s College in 1924. With his pioneering spirit he set a new course in investment and turned a previously rather conservative tradition of investing around, with the remarkable achievement of quadrupling the value of the endowment. Even more remarkably, this was achieved through commodities and shares during 20 years of economic depression.
