A visit to one of the world’s best-known wine heritages
For centuries, this vineyard was under the wings of the Lur Saluces family, descended from a lovechild of the Sun King of Versailles. Their methods differ from conventional viniculture in many ways. Only extremely ripe grapes are harvested – if the grape juice obtained does not meet stringent quality criteria, it will not be used in production.
