


Follow in the footsteps of the genius French chef and his culinary vision
Guillaume Tirel, also known as Taillevent, was born in 1310. From an early age, he was said to work as an assistant cook in the kitchens serving the Queen of the time. Based on current findings, Taillevent is today thought to be the first cook who, at the age of 30, wrote a book on cuisine and gastronomy, which he named Le Viandier.
